How does it work?

Follow our step-by-step process in finding the right HVAC unit for your home.

Step 1: Choose the tonnage or the square feet of your home.

Step 2: Choose the type of unit your house will need (ie: package heat pump, package gas system, split heat pump or split gas system).

Step 3: We will generate multiple HVAC units that you can choose from.

How do I determine if I need a split system or packaged system?

A Split System consists of two units, an outside unit and an inside unit typically found in the attic.

A Package System is one large unit that is gas or electric located on the roof or ground.

How do I determine my heat source?

If your home has gas, then you may have a gas system. To check this you can look at the unit currently installed, located in either a closet or attic of your home, to see if there is a gas vent pipe or a yellow gas line that runs to it. If you do not have either item described above you most likely have an electric unit.

How do I determine the size/tonnage I will need?

Please add in the sq ft with tonnage chart
To identify the right size HVAC unit, you may also look at the model number of the currently installed unit. If the model number has any of the following numbers in it than you have found the tonnage as it correlates to the unit:

  1. 12 = 1 ton

  2. 18 = One and half ton

  3. 24 = two ton

  4. 30 = two and half ton

  5. 36 = three ton

  6. 42 = three and half ton

  7. 48 = four ton

  8. 60 = five ton
